unloading maps from gpsmap 76C

Hi all....
Great site! What a resource. Pity it took so long for me to find.... :(


I have a GPSMAP76C and was wondering about how you unload or remove maps from it. The user manual tells you how to use it. Mapsource lets you upload to it (although I dont have a code for city navigator V6 so cant upload maps anyway) but not how to unload maps from it.

I downloaded the Tracks4Australia maps and was going to upload SA's to the unit but wondered how to unload maps should I want to remove them?

Hi

You don't need to. Every time you upload a map or maps, Mapsource deletes the maps that are on the GPS before it uploads the new ones. The same goes with sendmap and img2gps
