I recently ordered the garmin Colorado 300 with free topo, and also ordered the $5 DVD with Shonky, T4A etc... What arrived was the colorado 300, one DVD with Shonky, T4A etc..., and a memory card with no explanation. Can I assume that the free topo is actually the $5 DVD which is why I didnt get a DVD specifically with topo maps on it, and that the SD card was instead of the DVD I ordered?
Also another question, does anyone have details on what all the files on the DVD actually are?

Hi
The DVD you received does have topo on it, that being ShonkyMaps and T4A and contours Australia.
The SD card is most likely due to you doubling up on the Topo and thus gave you a free SD card instead.
There isn't a list of what the files are, although I can assist a little here
You already know what Shonkymaps, T4A and Contours Australia are now. The POIs are Points Of Interest from the Garmin web site. The OSM zipped files are from Openstreetmap.org site, and are additional maps to the free Shonkymaps etc. NZ free maps is on there as well as Malsing maps; Malaysia and Singapore. The video clip is on how to install multiple maps onto your GPS and the read me file on how to update your computer to have Mapsource, which you don't need to do because the Colorado came with Trip & Waypoint manager. The wa.img, nsw.img etc files are designed to go straight onto a datacard but renamed to gmapsupp.img to work on your GPS in a sub folder called Garmin.
the folder Garmin SD is a pre-processed version of Shonkymaps, T4A and Contours AU, so that all you do is copy the folder inside it called Garmin directly onto a datacard so that you don't have to follow the steps in the video clip; it's already done for you.
