Hi All!
I have a Uniden GNS8600 that I havent docked with a pc for ages (I think it runs on WinCE4.2)...to cut a long story short I have a new PC and unfortunatly it does recognise the Usb link from GPS, I cant find the original CD that should have XP drivers for it. The Uniden site aint the best with no link to drivers, I have called them and sent emails but as yet, no response!
Does anyone here know where I can get the USB drivers for it?
Thanks Heaps.

Don't have a Uniden myself but most WinCE devices us Microsofts Active Sync to connect from pc to navigator. You can download it at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync-download.mspx and give that a try if you don't get any other replies.

Thanks for the quick response...I already have Activesync set up (I use with my HTC Touch Diamond). The problem is when I connect the uniden GNS8600 I get "unrecognised device"..thus I asume it is a lack of driver issue.(i have tried on XP and Vista...no luck).
Cheers.

Looks like you'll have to download the "Trax Central Software" which is available at http://www.uniden.com.au/RESOURCES_MAIN/images/miscellanous/traxcentralsetup.zip and install that? Google didn't have any hits on XP Drivers so I assume they are included in the software download?
