I came upon this site recently, It's great for adding Geocaches to your Nuvi GPSr. I use it a lot to get me to GZ in the car, than I use my handheld Oregon near GZ.

You could use your Nuvi if it has a built in battery for Geocaching out of the vehicle, My Nuvi 5000 does not have a built in battery, Although you do not have the compass such as those in the Oregon.

I too use a garmin and have just started looking into geocaching, no doubt this site will help me alot

Great tip thanks. Have only just bought a Nuvi but have found a few things with my Lowrance handheld.
