Thought I would share my top five favourite geocaches with you. Might provide motivation to dust off the GPSr and have a look. I would also be interested in hearing about others favourites.
1. Riven Deeping - I got a FTF on this which I normally don't care too much about. This one took a bit of effort.

2. Obscured by Clouds - A very old cache by caching standards (2001). A multi-cache with a breath-taking final location.

3. Top - Not as tough as I originally thought it would be. Still, the location is stunning.

4. BB#1 Two Bays Track #6 - A very recent addition to my caching tally. Extremely enjoyable walk with an adventure thrown in.

5. Tutankhamen was her! I walked up this gentle rise twice before I nabbed this one.

Hi bshwckr,
I shared your experience on "Tutankhamen was here" , but it took me 4 and a half hours just to get to the top. It is one of my favourite caches also.
Had a look at your others. You certainly go for the tough ones. If you ever get up north again there's one on top of Bartle Frere and one called "Lamb chop" that would appeal to you.
Cheers,
Dan

Had the backpack loaded and was all set to take on Bartle Frere a while ago. Got to the track head to find the track closed because of damage from Larry.
I will return.

One cache that makes me smile looking back on the day is - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=228e8b0a-5439-4047-b01f-39abbc1e6b3c
as my journey was epic... and all along the way while cursing and sweating the countryside changed from dry scrub to green forest ending with long forgotten history and a bat filled gold mine. I couldn't walk straight for a week..... Still might go back though...

Looks like my type of cache. Might try and get this one in when next in the Cairns area.

Ahhh it sounds like you love 'bush whacking'. You might like this one too.

For a real bush whacking adventure in war history you could claim a FTF in the Kimberleys....... Good luck. (my cache so probably some bias there)

My travel arrangements have changed in the last two years so I dont get to this area as often as I used to. Since then, an enormous amount of caches have been placed in the area. I am planning a weekend assault in the near future.
