Evening all.
I am intending to buy a USB GPS for my 4X4 setup. My question
is, can the 1.5 metre GPS cable be extended by about 5 metres, to reach the USB port on the laptop mounted on the cargo barrier.
Thank's, :mighty

etc.

5M total without extender.

Thank's Nev.
Another option I can use is an RS232 extension cable and an USB to RS232 Dongle that I have, and connect the USB GPS to that.

Garmin have a USB 28 . This will give you the capability of using Garmin mapping software in the future. :wave
