This remains for “comfortable” off road action carrying a "bit" of gear.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/helterskelter400/buggy/funfunIMG_0203.jpg
(yes I know its ugly)

This is for all access, no track to tough/long off road action/exploration & epics

Has just been swapped for this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/helterskelter400/bike/355f95d1.jpg

As the everyday transport and mule.
(yes I know I should have gone hiace or euro but I have a mortgage….)

its surprisingly comfortable & manouverable but SLOW. haha

These are images of the vehicles I use the laptop gps in. The first is the gps self steering tractor we use on the planter. One image is a comparison between the reciever used for the steering and the button mouse gps I use in the laptop. The steering unit uses a touch screen and icons across the bottom indicate status of gyro, base station coms, basestation sats, tractor sats, slop ( inaccuracy), and steering. All must be green for unit to operate. The laptop sits in a recess on a storage unit beside the left arm rest. Haven't finished the velcroe seat belt yet. The other tractor operates the laser leveling scoop.

guys and gals
new to this forum ( have yet to make an intro thread ) but I just thought I would post up a pic of my ride .

My beloved Jap Spec SSS pulsar * the teal coloured one in this photo * recent 2L Turbo engine conversion.
Puts out some pretty decent Kw/Hp , but at the moment just trying to get it more economical. The torque steer is shocking!

I am the social secretary for the Perth Pulsar club
( basically anything involving drinking - I plan it )

It's out the back of Lithgow, on the way to Mudgee, well, you turn off and it's about 40 minutes in off the road. Nice spot to camp, bit tricky doing the turn in between the two trees and trying to avoid a wombat hole at the same time. Not many people camp there, but it's pretty quiet. The occasional motorbike passes through or 4WD.

Ozi track file HERE (http://campertrailer.diveoz.com.au/trips/Baal_bone_gap-Nov-2005/images/track.zip)

Or is the couch for your spectators to watch you getting out of that bog hole !

No, but it would have made a good seat for the drive in theater :)

I'll let you in on a little secret. While you can't see it in that picture, ahead of my cruiser is a :o landrover - that not only made it through what is really a pathetic bog hole, but also pulled me out.

But i will still blame the bogging on the additional roof top weight and the inherently poor aerodynamics from my home brew roof rack that has no wind deflector up front.
