Adding pictures to a post ?

I'm trying to add photos in my post, I've used attach files and insert image but in preview there is no picture. In add image it asks for text to be formated :confused:

When you attach an image there is no image shown in the preview post screen.

You'll need to hit submit to see the image in your thread.

What is the text to be formated in add image ? Is attach files and add image the same result.

A couple of suggestions in case you were not aware.

If your photo images are too large, the attachment will not go through. Normally a message and reason for failing to attach is provided.

Also, try zipping the files, particularly the text file, as only certain file types are accepted as attachments, i.e. gif jpeg jpg pdf rar zip

I have resized the photos to fit.

My question is do I use Attach Files or Insert Image?

If I use Insert Image, what is the text that needs to be formated ? :confused:

When you reply to a post or start a post there is a little yellow square with mountains in it, just click on that and it should be fine,

Or test with out the spaces and test

Remember if you're using the [IMG] tags you'll need to have your image hosted on the web.. To upload an image from your local machine you'll need to use the 'Manage Attachments' button.

Thanks Craigus. Got image to work in Manage Attachments but the link to photobucket using the image tag didn't work.

Craigus........I used hyperlink to photobucket, seems to have done the job.
