I might be way off but would it be possible to make an adaptor that fits into the sd card slot of my pda that will read something like a CF microdrive ? I was thinking that it would have a sd card type fitting on 1 end and a female cf slot on the other - is this too bizzare to work ? I t would be like having a mini hardrive for my ipaq .

I'm not 100% sure on this...but I thought that what the SDIO format was all about???

Using an SD slot to operate any other I/O device(depending on power requirements)???

I haven't read enough about the subject, so I'm probably wrong in my assumptions ...yet again :p

I dont know much about pda's but i think you maybe right, so with the right cabling it could work. It would be handy to have 1 large mem card to store or your programs and crap on instead of switching between cards. This is only a thought and would sort of bridge the gap between pda and lappy/ carputer.
