Hi, can anyone help me with mapsource load failure. I downloaded the files and they worked perfectly for a few weeks but now the application won't respond. I have redownloaded the programs a few times but no go. Garmin says to download operating system 3 but this computer is latest W7 and my other laptop is XP using OP3. I have Shonky maps and downloaded Aussie maps and UK cycle maps but don't have a program to use the img. files. I am trying to copy them onto a micro sd card to use in my Edge 705. Ando55

Did you go through control panel to remove the software then go into regedit to clean it up and then reboot the PC and then re-install?

Hi - Download Basecamp (http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/us/onthetrail/basecamp) and use that if all else fails (assuming Bascamp works with the units you have?) - does everthyng Mapsource does and more ...though it is a bit sluggish on my PC.

Cheers

I have removed the basecamp and mapsource files but don't understand what to do with regedit. I went into it and it shows folders and no remove function. I have used ccleaner regedit, does that suffice. Basecamp wouldn't activate either so have removed that as well, should I remove all garin files including drivers and gstart?

Type in regedit in search and the following is found as a sticky!
