Minimum display speed in Ozice

I was doing some hiking on a fishing trip in New Zealand recently, using Ozice and the minimum speed it would display was just below 5kph. If I walked any slower it would display as 0kph When I checked the track data later Ozice has logged the speed as less than 5kph.

Can anyone offer any help?

It might be your GPS,my old Magellan 315 gave very spasmodic readings below 5km/hr,I usually try to average about 3.5 km/h out trolling in my boat and my newer Eplorist 500 is a lot more responsive at slow speeds.

I assumed that the problem would be software but I'll look into the hardware side of it
