Hi,
I recently got hold of a bluetooth gps / trip recorder called ''747 A+''.
This is similar to a Qstarz type but is not the same manufacturer.

I have hooked up the USB and can communicate to OziExp without problem. i think this is a 51ch gps, so cold start is pretty quick too.
But l'm having a lot of hassle trying to setup com with bluetooth. The computer is 'paired' to the gps but when l start Ozi NMEA, there is a pop-up window requesting me to enter the pairing passcode.
The device was not paired with a passcode, there is no keypad to input one anyway and the device properties under 'bluetooth properties' in Control Panel shows 'no passcode'. Confusing!

Has anybody else got this device?
Have you guys had issues with setting up bluetooth devices wih OziExp?
This is the 4th evening l've devoted to this task. I'm at the point of just packing it back up and forgetting it. Please help as l'd really like OziExp to work in the 4B.

Thanks

Nicko

I sell them

The original manufacturer of the iBlue 747 and QStarz is Transystem. Go to www.transystem.com.tw and download drivers, manual etc

Hi Nicko,
Thanks for that link. I'll update the driver etc tonight.
Maybe there is a way to set the bluetooth handshake passcode myself.....

Cheers
