Hi all,

Well I went and bought a Tom Tom GO 720 today...two different people that sell them told me that the Tom Tom has the edge over Garmin (the other one i was considering) but I have been charging it for over 4 hours and when I turn it on it tells me to wait- and a battery icon flashes up....HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CHARGE IT FOR? or should I hit the reset button?
Says in the manual/documentation that it could take "up to two hours"......hmmmm

TIA

Bluemist.

Hi, I have a Tom Tom GPS ( took about 6 hrs to fully charge , first up,)and it is good but it is not nearly as good as my mates Garmin, even when you compare the units at the same level.
Mainly the ability to load maps etc from your PC.
Pay a little more and get a Nuvi 660/
Cheers Des.

Thankfully someone answered my question with some knowledge. I have a higher regard for Garmin products than TomTom anyday.
