Greetings all. I have been registered for some time now, but have only finally got around to saying Hi.

I am located in Sunny Canberra and use my GPS primarily for 4WDing. The GPS I use is the Navman PiN loaded with Oziexplorer CE. I have been using the old NSW topographical maps (1:25K) that were once available on CD, but am now beginning to use the new updated versions found here.

My 4WD is a 1998 Jeep Wrangler with the following mods:

2" OME suspension lift
1" Body Lift
1" coil spacers (saggy springs - must replace...)
1" Motor Mount Lift
Terraflex disconnects
2 x Lightforce 170's
Front and rar ARB Air lockers (with ARB compressor)
4.56 diff ratio's (the stock 3.07's really suck)
Safari Snorkle
Uniden TX3400 UHF CB radio
Bikini Top
Snake Racing Diff Guard
33 x 10.5 BFG MT's

Hope to provide some useful stuff here in the future

Cheers

Gav

If you have a pic of the jeep I'd love to see it :D

Certainly do. In fact I am now the Trips Coordinator and Environment officer for the club!

In summer we go on regular drives on Tuesday nights in the Brindies (I'll post some track logs tomorrow).

I also have plenty more pics of the Jeep (you can't have too many...)

I might get to see you round then. I am easy to spot. I have an almost naked blue/silver Triton ute with big tyres and a bit of lift :). I am also in the process of joining ACTATC and I hear that you guys have had joint outings.

I'll look out for the wrangler on the tracks ;)

Cheers

I'll look out for you then :)

The ACTATC guys are good value, and they have an excellent set-up for their club.

See you on the tracks..
