Just a quick thanks to those who helped me sort out my GPS problems..
I have finally got my Explorist 600 xl GPS working the way it should. I have replaced the US Basemap with an Australian Basemap, loaded a large section of South Australia and Victoria (DAST) into the internal memory of my unit, so now I can leave my BlueNav SD Card in the GPS (where it belongs).
I was getting annoyed changing SD Cards everytime I went fishing, then 4WD thinking that sooner or later I would loose a very small, but expensive SD Card

I still think you should be able to transfer regions from the Bluenav SD card onto the GPS the same as DAST...

its a stupid idea not letting us use 1 SD card for 2 jobs

I would be interested to know how they protect the SD Card from being copied.
I thought you would be allowed to store some of the Marine charts on the internal memory of the GPS ???
I tried it, but the GPS just said "security error"....

It is a lot of money to spend just to have one copy without the security of a backup in case of loss or damage.

It really does suck.
