I am currently putting together a system. I've ordered a BT338 Bluetooth gps and I have an Ipaq 2210. I will soon be buying Destinator as well. What I would like to do is to be able to run Destinator on a bluetooth laptop as well.

Can anybody tell me what is required to do this. I have seen a few posts referring to MapMonkey. If this is what I need, just what is it and where do I get it?

thanks

Mapmonkey is one option.. I have just taken the step over to 'FreeDrive' and so far I love it..

Both FreeDrive and Mapmonkey use the Destinator 'SDK'

Download FreeDrive (http://www.x-digital.addr.com/FD/index.php)

Download MapMonkey (http://mapmonkey.net/)

Thanks Craigus,

I have just downloaded FreeDrive and am purchasing Destinator PN (hopefullly the Aust maps are Q2 2005) from Electronic Frontier. Can't wait to get it all up and going. I'm working up to a trip aroun Australia next year. I've been selling some not needed hobby items on ebay to purchase all of this. The wife isn't convinced gps is a worthwhile investment.

Cheers
