My Asus 636n is giving me a message every time I turn it on that says:
Storage memory;
Storage memory is critically low. If you do not increase storage memory, you may not be able to start some programs. Use file explorer to delete files you no longer need, or move some files to a storage card.
I have been into File Explorer and there doesn't seem to be any extra files that weren't already installed when I first bought it.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so how did you fix it?
Regards,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
What programmes are you running. CoPilot foe example records track logs as does OziExplorerCE. As these grow, over time, you may have to delete past logs that aren't needed.

Thanks 4X4,
I am running co-pilot and OziCE, but not sure where these track logs are filed so I can delete them.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Geoff.

You can transfer your map files etc from OziExplorerCE to your SD card (don't forget to change the path), this will free up some memory. You will need to use Activesync to syncronise the PDA to the PC. You can then find where the track log files are located and delete them.

Once again, thanks 4X4.
I do have my maps on an SD card, and I will try to locate through Activesync where the track log files are.
Any idea how they are named, etc?

What path have you selected to save your map & data files to?
I have OziExplorerCE save all data to: \SD Card\Data
The track files will have an extension .plt You can delete the track log file & the track tail from the Track Log dropdown box in OxiExplorerCe.

To be honest I haven't mapped a path for these files to save to.
So does that mean they will be saved to the root directory of the PDA?

Yes.
I have OziExplorerCE save all data to: \SD Card\Data
Open OxiExplorerCe Click on File, Click on Configuration, Click on Map & Data Files. Under Data File Path Click on the box with ... and select the path to your SD card.

4X4, you're a ****** legend.
I have deleted those files as mentioned, and all is fine now.
I also marked my track logs as 'do not save' in OziCe.
Thanks for the heads up.
Geoff.
