This is a photo of my kayak console. The Garmin 60 uses a bike mount onto a custom aluminium bracket. The GPS and sounder
are mounted to a cutting board baseplate that is connected to a RAM mount. I have a RAM mount on the stinkboat too so all I have to do is unplug it and swap between craft. This is cost effective and there is no need to have different setups.

Cutting boards have proved useful for mounting brackets etc on the yacht I race on.
I was looking at kayaks with the foot paddles at the Melb Boat Show last week. How do you find they actually work on the water?
