View Full Version : Marine Map for eXplorist?

Hi all, just a quick query

I've recently been out boating a fair bit, and realised it'd be a great idea to get a marine map on my GPSr (eXplorist 400). So, I shopped around and found the Bluenav products, and (surprise surprise) couldn't afford it.

SO.. Is there any slightly less expensive products OR failing that, GIS datasets to have a crack at making one myself?

Cheers

Did you look in our shop? If you had a Garmin I could have done you a great deal. There is nothing else available.

Hey Spoon88,

Any luck finding a cost-effective way of putting marine maps on Magellans?

I have just bought a Triton400.

Hope to hear from you.

Blue skies and calm seas.

Hi Keznik

No such luck... unless you wanted to create something yourself (it is possible), i'm not sure how much there is out there, besides the Bluenav products?

Thanks for the response Spoon,

What tools do you need to make your own?

I have C-Maps for my PC, is there anything I can do with them that you know of?

Cheers,
