I have a StreetWize GPS with 2006 software - can't find anywhere how I can contact the manufacturers or distributors of a current software download. Can anyone please help and advise.

Can anyone help me find StreetWize GPS Destinator software update?

Can't find it anywhere.

Desperately need it before a forthcoming trip.

The vendor of the GPS unit - Autobarn - has been no help at all.

Please send a PM.

Thanks

Well, I have never heard of it, & I suspect neither has any other member, hence no replies.
A google search turned up nothing useful
If you are desperate for up to date maps you may have to write that one off to your GPS learning curve & buy a well known brand. Garmin, Navman etc.

hi mate...
i read your post....urge you to think carefully before you upgrade...and do your homework on the the upgrade.
read the post on altina-marbella in destinator
there are lessons to be learned here...

1)contact destinator direct in the link someone provided here and ask if your hardware can be set /configured for the software and all your hardware can run the software at a reasonable speed
2) make sure you know how to install or unistall the upgrade before you do it...
otherwise you could be left with a no gps gsp unit and many many hours /days weeks/months years trying to fix the issue or money..
If its not broken why fix it ?
that is the stand you should have until you done your homework...
and that includes ok if you update the software....where does that leave you map wise..updates in the future...
which is the biggest picture..
