pwm 3501 Reinstalling Windows CE

I have the Windows CE 5.0 of my PWM3501 fully corrupted. I can not use it. It does not recognize USB.

I am trying to recover the system like in the post: http://www.gpsaustralia.net/forums/showthread.php?t=8594&highlight=chinese

In the mine I must press reset button while the main power is switching on. Holding the reset button aprox 20 sec and free the reset button. I see the device is trying to load from the SD card. But I have not the recovery software.

Can anybody check if the recovery software is in the device or in the SD card, testing with and without the memory card?

Hi,

I have also had this problem - after several weeks of great service it dies yesterday and will not boot up any more.

It shows the TEVION screen then the planet with sattelites screen with the progress bar, but does not go any further, and after several minutes the progress bar stops progressing.

Did you get anywhere with your recovery?
