Wot's the difference with using upper or lower case when changing the auto.exe and auto.mscr??

Will not make any difference - case is ignored - proven by the fact you can not have two files with the same name in a folder even if you try using upper case on one and lower case on another. Option for upper or lower case is simply provided for your viewing pleasure.

OK..MP Lite now all installed and working- with one (yes, only one) question??

How do I associate the OxiExplorer SHORTCUT ICON on the main window with the Ozi.exe file. The MioMap one works just fine.

OziCE is installed OK as it does boot up thru the WinCE>MyDevice>StorageCardOziExplorerCE.exe. Ozi then does everything it should do !!

FYI- the other SHORTCUTS (of which I probably won't be using) are Destinator, Garmin, IGO, TomTom...

Editing MioPocket Lite:

If clicking the icon doesn't start your chosen navigation application, you may need to alter the path to the executable file that starts it.

The file you need to edit is called Variables_Navigation.mscr and is located in \Storage Card\MioAutoRun\Scripts.

Drag the file onto your PC and open with notepad - on mine I had to change the OziExplorer folder name and the exe name in the short cut to get it to work.

Now all good and working !! My techo son helped changing the exe set up as required for the shortcut...
What a neat little unit. Have the 1:250k- most of the Hema maps, and the 1:100k mpas for the ares I mainly uses.

Thats exactly what im trying to do with the hema maps does installing mio pocket lite need you to reload the mio map as i have 2008 maps installed but no disc only the old maps
