This product is capable of viewing Garmin compatible maps so long as they are not locked. It is most useful with home brew and third party maps made with gpsmapper.

I found out my problem.... I not only unzipped the gpsVP file but also unzipped the cab file as well & loaded this onto my SC card.
No wonder it would not run...

Yes I guess to load it manually may be the go.
I was viewing the gpsVP site, a person with a A636 had it running but it froze up.
