    Hi
I have considered that as a solution but then couldnt be bothered reseting everything...but the important ones should only take a few minutes I suppose (time zone, units, track interval etc).

May do it while watching cricket. Might see if I can do a reset then customise everything in the time it takes Michael Clarke to bat his innings out...

    Cheers

    Track colour based on speed

Found this, maybe should be set to No. Les

    Hi
thanks ..but mine is set to No ..plus looks like that just applies to 3D stuff which I have turned off anyway. I would have thought the setting would be under Settings>Navigation > Track Log or Tracks...but there is nothing I can see that appears to relate to my "issue".

    Cheers

Hmm seems like you will have to sit through the innings. I'll be interested if you send an inquiry to CompeGPS. Might be something they found in previous Versions Settings, which have been deleted. Les

Solved - one of the super gurus on the CGL forum gave me this advice..

    Hi,
    i suppose who mean this:
    - on map view
    - long press on the track opens context menu
    - scroll down until you see " Gradate track color"
    - press "Gradate track color"
    - check "none" instead of "track speed"

    cheers
    Gert

No idea how I found that menu in the first place or why it applys to all tracks and not just the one you are are playing with ..but now everything is back to normal.

    Cheers
    Greg

Yay, Explorer is back to normal!!!!

All we got to do now is see 2.2.9z before we get 2.3

But I think what you will see over the next coming months in particular version 2.3 will be the opportunity to use marine charts, and you won't have to buy them from me

Clearly bug fixes, probably more to do with the marine side of things, preparation for version 2.3 with marine chart capability.

I heard that the boat icon sinks when you simulate grounding
