I have been trying out the internet maps option in OziExplorer, loading google maps or openstreet maps. It works well.
How can I load the cache maps if I am not online?..

I have been using OziExplorer almost daily for perhaps 10 years+ and have never had a use for OSM maps.
After a quick read here:
http://www.oziexplorer3.com/eng/osm.html
and:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Oziexplorer
I downloaded the necessary files and "had a go".
Well I can report complete success on my first attempt.
What is not working for you?
A quick capture around home and then a disconnect from the Internet.
OziExplorer > Load > Load Map File > Internet Maps.map
The maps are obviously still in the cache - /OziExplorer/System Files/Internet Maps Cache/Open Street Map/
Here is a screen capture - OSM - offline:

Have you been able to do this with google or bing satellite images ?
I am new (this afternoon) to all this OziEinternet map downloading but a very quick and simple google search for "oziexplorer google maps" finds:
http://www.oziexplorer3.com/eng/ge.html
and
http://www.oziexplorer3.com/eng/gm.html
I think we need to read directly from Des on those pages:
"...Saving of the Google Maps map is not possible.
You must always have an internet connection - caching of the maps is not done."
and
"Saving of the Google Earth map is not possible."
My highlights.
Google dictates the rules.
External software abounds to achieve the desired results.![]()

Hey, just as an aside...
I recently happened across this when I was researching Android tablets. Apparently, it is now possible to cache Google Maps on the Android app (but, if I recall correctly, the cache disappears after a set time (months?).
So, perhaps, a good sign for the future (re: Google rules). Google it if it is of interest to anyone on those devices.
Cheers,
Paul.
EDIT: Here's a link to one such article - http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/top-3-f...-apps-android/

I did exactly the same. A quick capture around home, disconnected the internet, and the cached maps were still able to be used. What I was trying to say was when I start OziExplorer again, I can't see the cached maps. ...... and from the the OziExplorer web site these words ... You need an internet connection to use Internet Maps. The map image tiles are downloaded in real time from the internet and stored in a file cache.
Tiles which have already been cached can be used when offline.
Does this mean ......... be connected to the internet, cache some maps then disconnect from the internet and they are still there to use, but close the prog. and they are gone or have I been ..... cached out !!

From my last post.
Directly from the OziExplorer website:
http://www.oziexplorer3.com/eng/ge.html:
"Saving of the Google Earth map is not possible."

"Saving of the Google Maps map is not possible. You must always have an internet connection - caching of the maps is not done."
http://www.oziexplorer3.com/eng/osm.html:
"You need an internet connection to use Internet Maps. The map image tiles are downloaded in real time from the internet and stored in a file cache."
Apparently referring to Open Street Maps?
FWIW
Just to contradict the above a quick test here this morning.
At my location here in NZ these maps are cached and survive a PC power down and are still viewable in OziExplorer - no internet connection:
Open Street Map
Google Street Maps
Google Satellite
Google Terrain
Virtual Earth Streets
Virtual Earth Satellite
Virtual Earth Hybrid
