Nuvi and Shonky maps

I purchased a Nuvi 260W yesterday and have downloaded Shonkymaps to the PC.
A couple of questions, can I just load the shonky maps to an SD card, put them in the Nuvi and use them straight away or do I need to do some configration changes.
Second Q, the Nuvi comes preloaded with City navigator, can I copy this software to the PC to look at the shonky maps on the PC.

Edit, just found the Garmin section in the software area, this might need to be moved there.

Yes
No

Please read the ShonkyMap thread to see what you can do to overcome the "No" answer
