Navman S80 Constant Reboot

Hey everyone I hope someone can help me with this.

I have the S80 and a friend has an S50. His unit came with a free upgrade to new maps. He thought I might like some free upgrades too see I backed up my devices files and then copied his onto mine. His also had been unlocked at the time I didn't think this would be a problem. Thinking the worst thing that could happen is that it wouldn't work. WRONG!!!

It now is constantly rebooting It shows the Navman S80 screen a quick flash of the WinCe screen then a flash of the Navman S50 screen then reboot. I can't connect to it at all. How the hell am I going to fix this and get my old files back onto it.

Next time I'll use the less haste more speed approach.

Are you just getting the start up screen and then the device can't go any further?

If this is the case you need to put your original mapping DVD which will have your Navdesk on it into the computer. Open Navdesk and under tools you should see restore, follow these directions and it should reset your device.
